MCA Coding

These inspections are carried out on commercially operated sail and motor vessels up to 24 metres in length for compliance to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency code of practice for small commercial vessels (SCV).

The coding is carried out through the IIMS (International Institute of Marine Surveying) an MCA approved SCV certification authority.

As well as carrying out the coding inspection, we are able to advise, assist, and/or project manage a vessel's preparation for coding.

Stability assessments with stability booklet preparation for Category 0 and Category 1 vessels can be provided.
